Project Summary: The AtTACC Pain study aims to improve identification of patients at high risk for cancer-related pain and develop biopsychosocial phenotypes underlying the transition from acute to chronic pain in survivors of ovarian cancer. Recruitment includes patients with ovarian cancer at the conclusion of their treatment, ovarian cancer survivors 6-9 month post-treatment with and without persistent pain, and cancer-free controls to understand clinical, psychological, behavioral, and biological profiles of patients with persistent cancer pain. Findings from this study will be used to develop tailored, targeted interventions to prevent and manage cancer-related pain.
