Consensus-Based Algorithms to Address Opioid Misuse Behaviors Among Individuals Prescribed Long-Term Opioid Therapy: Developing Implementation Strategies and Pilot Testing

The aim of this study is to develop implementation strategies and operationalize algorithms that address opioid misuse behaviors among individuals receiving long-term opioid therapy. The overall goal of this study is to reduce long-term opioid therapy-related harms and diminish their impact on the opioid epidemic.


Assessing the Transition from Acute to Chronic Cancer Pain (AtTACC Pain) Study

PI: Hailey Bulls, PhD and Jessica Merlin, MD, PhD, MBA

This pilot study aims to understand the biopsychosocial phenotypes underlying the transition from acute to chronic cancer pain in survivors of ovarian cancer. The long-term goal of this study is to identify patients at high risk for cancer-related pain and develop targeted, tailored interventions to prevent and manage pain in patients with cancer.
